Turn to God when you need Him

“Watching & Waiting”

Watching and waiting

For a friend to play with

Why have I been alone so long

Mole he is burrowing his way to the sunlight

He knows there’s someone there so strong.

‘Cause here there’s lots of room for doing

The things you’ve always been denied

Look and gather all you want to

There’s no one here to stop you trying

Soon you will see Me

‘Cause I’ll be all around you

But where I come from I can’t tell

But don’t be alarmed by My fields and My forests

There here for only you to share

‘Cause here there’s lots of room for doing

The things you’ve always been denied

So look and gather all you want to

There’s no one here to stop you trying

Watching and waiting

For someone to understand Me

I hope it won’t be very long…………..

My Hope and Prayers

In moderation to the events ensuing over the last week I felt a valuable need to post this blog. My hope is that it reaches enough conscientiousness to make a significant difference. No one loves this country more than I do. I’m a second generation American.  My parents were both born in the United States and were able to live and thrive here by the fortitude of my hardworking immigrant grandparents.

I steadfastly believe that the United States needs a realignment of it’s responsibilities to the world we live in. To this proud American it seems like we are at a reproachful juncture.

Following President Trump’s berating of this decades greatest war hero, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Friday 02/28/2025 the separation of Americans disgusted or elated by this nationally televised ambush, is discerning to say the very least. Personally, I was totally embarrassed by the actions of the Whitehouse and it seemed to me that Trump called on his VP, J.D. Vance, to do the dirty work! This vainglory by the President was mindfully precarious. The result of this historical event could be devastating to the already beleaguered people of Ukraine.

However, the next day with his country’s future on the line, Zelenskyy went to the United Kingdom with resolution and courage in his heart. There he was met with a hero’s welcome in the streets. Later, he had a sit down at 10 Downing Street with the Prime Minister, Keir Starmer. The two were meeting on the eve of a most important meeting of European leaders from thirteen countries to take place right there in London. Starmer told him he has the U.K.’s unwavering support. The following day twelve more countries joined in that same support, adding with or without the aid of the United States.

That was Sunday.

My hope and prayers might have been answered this “Tuesday Afternoon”……………
